The town of Dorsten, which belongs to the district of Recklinghausen, is located between the southern Münsterland and the northern Ruhr area. With a population of around 76,000, Dorsten is located directly on the River Lippe, the longest river in North Rhine-Westphalia, making it an attractive local recreation area. The central location of MERCADEN Dorsten is not only directly connected to the city centre of Dorsten, but also to the Wesel-Dattel Canal, which runs between the Lippe and MERCADEN Dorsten.
